Gold ornamentation and Swarovski crystals added by hand. The paper-cut design around the text space comes from the Jewry of Kurdistan; gazelles on both sides of the tree need no explanation, and the verses quoted are:
Top bow: "As a lily among the thorns so is my darling among the maidens. Like an Apple tree among the trees of the forest, so is my beloved among the youth", Song of Songs 2:2-3.
Lower panel: "My soul is attached to you", Psalms 63:9. In Hebrew, unpunctuated, it reads both ways, as said to a man and as said to a woman.
